Despite his no-nonsense, hard-working personality, he also possesses a surprisingly easygoing side, showing patience and understanding toward Factory Chief Murdock's anxieties and Professor Russell's troublesome tendencies.
Gustav also works as the chief overseer of the factory ship Leibnitz, the pride of Zeiss. His skills as a mechanic are highly regarded by everyone around him.
